Kerry Phillip’s graphic novel is called “Captain Smiley: The Adventure of The Bouncy Frisbee”, and it is the beginning of a graphic novel series that aims to entertain our young readers and evidently inspire and impart valuable lessons along the way.

As an army veteran with 18+ years of law enforcement experience, Kerry knows what it takes to navigate challenging situations while inspiring his counterparts. In addition to his strong connection with his family, he understands the importance of community which created a desire for him to mentor.

Through Captain Smiley, he can channel all of his lessons of perseverance, community, and general positivity to the younger generation. If his conviction is something that resonates with you, stop on by with your children this Friday from 3pm - 5pm to meet and learn more about him!
